The Hetrick-Martin Institute for LGBTQ + Youth (HMI) works with teachers, school administrators, guidance and mental health counselors, after school providers and local government agencies to educate and inform policies that better support LGBTQ youth ages 13 - 24 and their families.

Black Thrive also works with the National LGB&T Partnership and Lambeth Council to increase visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community. They identify challenges faced by the communities when it comes to achieving or maintaining positive mental health and wellbeing.

Their network of youth-led organizations run peer-to-peer field programs to turn out young voters across the country. The Alliance creates political homes for young people, within physical and online communities.
